“The company was originally established in 1979 by Theo and Anne Roth under the name T & A Drilling and Blasting. The current owner, Mr. Michael Witham, purchased the company in 1991. In 2013 the company was re-incorporated as T & A Rock Works Inc. due to the demand for slope stabilization services within the Okanagan Valley.
Michael has owned T & A Rock Works Inc. for the past three decades creating a strong reputation for the company all over North America. He is a long withstanding member of the ISEE (International Society of Explosive Engineers) having been involved with the organization for 20+ years. He has extensive experience in underground mining, construction, and quarrying. He graduated from Okanagan College in May of 1981 with a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma.
His education and extensive experience qualifies him to manage any project within the scope of the services offered by T & A. “
T&A had gotten designs for their T-Shirts from another designer, but unfortunately, they were not up to standard for the company. In addition, they needed designs that associated companies will wear.
I had seen the old design of the T-Shirts and knew T&A was in desperate need of new designs! Michael wanted a design of each service they offer; Driller, Blasters, Scaling, and Excavation. Without having a clear vision of what exactly they wanted; they put a lot of trust in me to come up with some from scratch. After reviewing the designs and making a few revisions, T&A and Michael were very pleased this these designs!

Travis had reached out to a Facebook group asking for help on his logo, so I saw an opportunity to help, as Travis said he; “is not very computer savvy” and wanted to make small changes to his logo. As for the line width and font, so I was happy to help, upon further inspection of the PDF he sent me he used a free software program to create this logo, however; the file type was corrupted and not converting properly, therefore, making it poor quality not good enough to print.
So, with some time, I re-designed the existing logo and gave him a few more alternatives to give him some options. After reviewing the logos, he still liked the original, but fixing the existing made it print-ready, he now has a professional-looking logo for his business ready for print and online!

Having been taught and mentored by one their very own designers I decided to do some branding collateral for them, this helped me by building industry connections and also helps to promote their company. Brand Collateral is the collection of media used to promote the brand and support the sales and marketing of a product or service. It’s the tangible evidence of the brand, designed congruent with the brands core values and personality.
CRAFT Beer Market is a place where fresh local food and craft beer from all over the world come together under one roof. Our first location opened in 2011 on a historic block in downtown Calgary. This was our opportunity to share our love of locally produced food and craft beers with Guests in a casual and approachable way while creating a connection to our community and the people within it.
We were welcomed with open arms and since then have grown to include multiple locations from coast to coast. Paramount to our concept is the incorporation of over 100 beers on tap in each one of our restaurants, giving way to the moniker: Where everything is on tap. We are forefront in the evolution of the craft beer movement, educating the world about craft beer, and craft beer culture, taking as much pride in serving the beer as the Brewmasters do in making it.
A visit to CRAFT is meant to be an experience connecting you to our community and culture. Almost all of our restaurants are located in historic buildings or city districts that have long been a gathering spot for socializing and celebration. We aren’t just a restaurant. We are part of the community, supporting those who support us. This includes buying local, knowing our neighbors, and being committed to community involvement and charities while being stewards of the environment through our sustainability initiatives.
This was another project I did while in school; which was to rebrand a company of our choosing, given how much I liked the place (because they sell my favorite beer) the choice was only natural, the overall concept of the rebrand was based on the ‘Art Deco’ movement. Which you might have seen a similar design if you’ve seen the Great Gatsby movie. From redesigning their menu to bottles and t-shirts!
