Steps needed to find and land a job.

Use connections: who do you know in your field of interest? Ask around and if family or peers are aware of any job postings.
Networking: this is used to identify leads, join associations, organizations and groups that are in your field or area of interest; this way you can grow your connections and gain useful tips and tricks of the trade.
Social Media: Posts, reels, photos, videos, blogs and with the appropriate hashtags can connect you with people, give you an opportunity to showcase your skills and build your reputation.
Resume & Cover Letter: Very important to keep both resume and cover letter up to date, organized, clean, consise and tight, for example; skills, qualifications, job experience, certificates and training, education and most important interest in the job you are applying for.
Know who you are applying to: Before you actually hand your resume in, best be sure you know about this history of that company, search for its career page, this way you can tailor your resume and cover letter to best match the companies opening position.
Don’t give up!: Dont let rejections get you down, instead use it as a motivation tool to improve. Dont be afraid to follow in person or via email, be assertive but not desperate or pushy as this can deter your potential employer.
